Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey

The rooms are neat, the location is particularly good. The breakfast choices are warm and reasonable with many varieties, a huge offering.

We had very nice 1 day here, recommend. That was enchanting and absolutely great hotel set in great area, just next door to Hershey, PA for a concert. The employees were amicable and outstandingly accommodating. Got queen room with kitchenette when arrived, appreciated that.

We enjoyed the convenient location & breakfast. The staff was nice. Check in & out was fast & easy.

No exhaust fan in bathroom & tub drained slow.

Could have been more swatting for breakfast.

Dogs/pets-the barking did not disturb us; the fact that dogs could walk (leashed) through the hotel was different and unsettling. While eating our dinner, a guest's dog messed on the floor. The guest scooped it up. Maintenance/housekeeping was not notified, so no cleaning was done. Are certain rooms reserved for pets? If not, then that would be one more "thing" to worry about when traveling....bed bugs? Cleanliness of sheets and spreads? Did a dog lie in this same bed recently? I would recommend the hotel to others with that caveat up front. I would need to think at least twice about returning. Another member of my party has already ruled out this hotel for our next visit.

Breakfast buffet was about the same everyday and very crowded each morning. The last night there next door people were loud for quite a few hours

Perfect for Families but not without its flaws

The hotel had a killer breakfast that was available all day with coffee tea and ice water never running out plus they had a cozy lounging area that was perfect. I really liked the room it was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed including a nice clean pool for the kids to splash around in which kept them entertained for hours.

It wasn't exactly cheap but honestly it was decent for what we got.

Breakfast was Ok. Eggs where horrible. Ran out of certain things. We didn't eat there seeing that and to go out. We didn't put a $50 breakfast for the four of us in our budget for the weekend

The staff was friendly and the manager was pleasent. When I spoke with him, he rectified the problem and gave us another room to shower in.

The beds were old and one had a spring poking out. The pillows were flat. The shower was discussing and covered with black mold!

Families may find it satisfactory

The staff was super friendly, went out of their way to help us when the pull-out bed was missing bedding. It was great to have a hot breakfast, that part really hit the spot - nothing fuel like some eggs and sausage in the morning, right?

Not exactly a bargain, but still was tolerable.

The breakfast bar was Excellent and varied. All the kids enjoyed that. We had the pool to ourselves for awhile and could stay right up until closing hour. The facilities were nice for us to catch up on our laundry after 3 days drive from home! and still going East.

Just a thought for design...it would be nice to access the pool area WITHOUT going through the main lobby. Maybe when new construction is going on?

The location is convenient for visiting The Hershey Pantry and the local golf courses. The game room was a fun hangout for us. Just keep in mind, the breakfast could be hit or miss, and the room had some housekeeping issues but nothing major to ruin our stay.

The TV signal went out due to the rain, pretty frustrating since we wanted to relax with some shows and couldn't. Would have liked better connectivity.

BREAKFAST MEAL, NICE VARIETY

The rooms are very clean. The staff outstanding. I was very impressed with the clean up at breakfast after a large group of 80+ kids come through your staff was right on it to empty the trash bins, restock the breakfast bar and clean the tables; like nothing ever happened.

The beds were harder than most. The walls are very thin, very easy to hear people walking down the hall or next to your room.
